Jul 25, 2010 - @siliceb2 Except Percey took the idea over from Herc which came first by nearly 10 years....Herc also originated the idea of putting Tim Conway and a pal as mythological creatures in a nursing home for the aged, Spongebob took the idea and turned Tim and his pal into super heroes Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and put THEM in a nursing home for the aged, and it was Hilarious!!! But Herc should have gottne more credit for their witty concepts.

With the exception of screwing up the myths, which I admit they did pretty well its one of the most intelligent kids show toons ever made. In fact, I cant think of a smarter one.
